Born in Naples, he graduated as a violinist in 1985 at the Conservatorio di "San Pietro a Majella" in Naples under Maestro Aldo Pavanelli. After success at the Vittorio Veneto competition for young violinists, he won the international competition at the city of Stresa in 1980 at the age of 16.
In the academic years 1982/84 he taught in the violin school at the Conservatories of Benevento and Vibo Valentia. In 1985, soon after receiving his diploma, he won an international audition overseen by Maestro Daniel Oren that brought with it a 2 year contract with the Teatro San Carlo in Naples.
Success in the 1987 Concorso brought him the position of first violinist at the Teatro di San Carlo in Naples. In 1988 he founded the chamber orchestra "I solisti partenopei" with whom he performed a busy schedule of concerts as first violin and soloist until 1993.
He collaborated with Maestro Severino Gazzelloni on the reworking and production of Vivaldi's baroque repertoire. From 1993 to 1995 he was heavily involved in concert work as first violin and soloist with the Neapolitan "Cameristi del San Carlo".
In 1996 he took part in several radio and television musical specials on the theme of Parthenopean musical culture. Since 1997 he has performed in concerts with the most acclaimed musical companies of the Regione of Campania.
As one of the proprietors of the business, he currently coordinates the production of musical projects created by Organizzazione Musicale Armonia in Naples, of which he is also both a founder member and executive manager; he specialises in the organisation and management of Conventions and Concerts.
