The Armonia Musical Organization came into being in the year 2000, through the work of its founder, Professor Loredana Siano (1961 – 2005), to provide a service of mutual benefit while achieving several other objectives. The most important of these was the creation of a continually growing pool of working engagements that would bring together the professionalism of established musicians working in Italy’s most accredited musical institutions with that of the young Parthenopean musicians working with Armonia.
This union allows the formation of orchestral groups of small, medium or large size, suitable for the needs of any musical request. The performance of ever-changing programmes and easy listening music creates an instructive bond between the performer and their audience, which over time leads to appreciate increasingly complex works.
No less important is the innovative idea of incorporating a musical interlude during the course of conventions, aimed at making the working sessions more enjoyable. Armonia also gives musical consultancy to couples preparing for marriage, assisting in the choice of works closest to their wishes.
The aim of this service is to enhance the role of music and musicians in events that otherwise often have low artistic and professional appeal.
With this in mind, since 2001 Armonia has participated at , the annual event held at the Mostra d'Oltremare in Naples, with its own “musical shop window” for those close to marriage. With these and other activities Armonia contributes to the growth of social and cultural opportunities in Italy.
